Via Venture Partners is a EUR 134 million multi stage venture fund investing in exceptional companies in the Nordic region. We invest up to EUR 20 mill in growth companies ready to expand outside the Nordic region, but we also support seed and early stage ventures. Although we invest in companies of all sizes, our focus is on companies with revenues from EUR 5 mill to EUR 30 mill.
We have a wide interest in all Internet, Communication (software), and Technology (ICT) growth companies that meet our investment criteria. Our secondary focus extends into the more industrial markets as well as into the life science markets as long as strong IT components are included. Within this broad definition software and communication are our primary focus areas.
Via Venture Partners is uniquely designed with the right mix of management and industry capabilities, has the financial strength and the legal structure to invest in all stages of a growth company’s movement towards its long-term goal. We invest in Nordic companies - or in companies whose headquarters are outside the Nordic region but have elements of value-add activities located in the Nordic region. We typically take a minority share position but are able also to acquire majority stakes.
Founded in early 2006, Via Venture Partners is a privately owned and independent Nordic technology venture capital firm. Our only Limited Partner is ATP, who manages Danish pension savings in excess of DKK 400 billion.
