The Via Venture Partners team combines many years of private equity experience with strong operational know-how from different industries such as IT, telecommunication and consulting. This ensures a solid understanding of the technological issues and challenges as well as hands-on operational management experience.

John has more than 20 years of senior ICT experience serving as a senior executive in global IT enterprises, management consulting and private equity. In addition John has held independent non-executive board of director positions in the communications and IT sectors.

Prior to founding Via Venture Partners John managed his own company, Co-Management International (cooperating with a number of international private equity funds) and was a co-founder of Danske Venture Partners (now Nordic Venture Partners). John has a wealth of experience, holding positions such as MD of Fujitsu/ICL and before that as VP and Managing Director of A.T. Kearney Copenhagen, Executive Vice President of the global Commodore Group, Managing Director of Commodore Computers, and OEM Manager of Hewlett-Packard.

In addition John has held independent directorships in Cybercity (Chairman), TC Group A/S (Chairman), Bergsøe4 (Chairman/director), Jamo, and several others.

John holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Jesper joined Via Venture Partners in 2005. Prior hereto Jesper held various CFO and senior financial manager positions in Toft & Fischer/Tocano A/S, FLSmidth and other international companies. The positions held included more than 9 years of senior assignments to countries like India, Italy and the Netherlands. In addition Jesper has held various corporate controller positions and started as an auditor with Deloitte, Copenhagen back in the late 1980’s.

Jesper’s CFO and manager positions also included holding a number of directorship positions with subsidiaries as well as associated companies.

Jesper holds a B.Comm. degree in Business Accounting and Administration from Copenhagen Business School

Jakob has over 10 years of experience from venture capital, private equity, the telecommunication industry and consulting. Before joining Via Venture Partners in 2006, he did acquisitions and business development in Danisco A/S. Prior to this he participated in the development of Danisco Venture as investment Director, was VP of Strategy, Sales and Marketing in Sense and Site Communication AS in Norway and was mobile PG manager in Mobilix. Jakob has also been involved as an associate with McKinsey & company.

While with Danisco Venture, Jakob held directorships in CatchMabs B.V., WellGen Inc., TMI Europe SA, and Jurag Separation A/S.

Jakob holds a M.Sc. Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and a Major in Finance from HEC in Paris.

Peter has a successful track record of building and exiting companies. He has been involved in numerous investments, focusing on operational development, international expansion and exits.

He has more than 10 years of experience from consultancy, investment banking, venture capital and private equity. Prior to joining Via Venture Partners, Peter was with Seed Capital Denmark where has was in charge of a number of noteworthy investments. In addition Peter has held non-executive board of director positions in more than a handful of companies.

Peter has furthermore worked for Nordea Markets, the Danish Ministry of Finance, and PLS Consult (now Rambøl Management).

He holds a M.Sc. in Economics from University of Aarhus and a M.Sc. in Finance from Warwick Business School (UK).

Anders Lindqvist

Anders has 25 years of experience from venture capital, private equity, and the IT industry. Prior to joining Via Venture Partners, he was a partner at Provider Venture in Stockholm for 9 years and before that, held various CIO and CEO positions at SEB and Enator Group.

Anders became a Swedish Internet pioneer in 1996 by starting the highly acclaimed S-E-Banken Internetbank as SVP at SEB, leading him to be elected “Financial Entrepreneur of the year 1997” and went on as founder and CEO of Telia Electronic Commerce, starting the first ASP business in Sweden.

In his previous venture career, Anders held directorships in Cypak, Envox, and Fox Technologies and was chairman of Medinsite, Pommad, Payson, TI Development and Tradera (sold to Ebay for MSEK 400 in 2006).

Anders is educated at Stockholm School of Economics.

Benjamin has half a decade of experience in investing in and building businesses. He has worked in London and New York both on the advisory side and on the investing side, and has participated in numerous investments across the Nordic region.

Prior to joining Via Venture Partners Benjamin held positions with Goldman Sachs Investment Banking in London and JP Morgan Asset Management in New York.

Benjamin holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a MPA from Harvard School of Government. In addition Benjamin has earned a B. Sc. in Economics and a M. Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen where he was awarded with the Crown Prince Frederik Fellowship.

Filip Lidman

Filip joined Via Venture Partners in 2012.

Filip has prior experience from private equity as well as corporate finance activities through positions held with FSN Capital and Carnegie Investment Bank.

Before joining Via Venture Partners, Filip also worked for Google at the European headquarters in Dublin where he among other things invented a, patent pending, product extension.

Filip holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law and he has also studied Economics and Finance at Copenhagen Business School.
